June 4th and 6th, 2025 – 47th Association for Interdisciplinary Studies Conference, Oulu, Finland.
MTU, participated in the 47th Association for Interdisciplinary Studies Conference: Shaping the future in the era of polycrisis, in Oulu, Finland, where they presented a paper on learnings from interdisciplinary research collaboration for sustainable cultural heritage renovation.
September 4th and 5th, 2025 – Social Sciences 4 Climate Change, Bolzano, Italy.
Our partners IAP & MTU attended the Social Sciences 4 Climate Change: From Knowledge to Action conference at EURAC Research in Bolzano, Italy, where they presented a paper highlighting the contribution of stakeholder engagement to the process of designing a PV-integration strategy in the Swiss use-case.
September 11th – 13th, 2025 6th- Central European Symposium on Building Physics, Budapest, Hungary.
EURAC Research presented on “Measuring Box for on-site thermal assessment of windows: presentation of a movable prototype, applied calculation and application” at the 6th Central European Symposium on Building Physics in Budapest, Hungary.
October 20th, 2025 – Journées Fribourgeoises du Photovoltaïques , Fribourg, Switzerland.
Our partners IAP and LMNT together with Yoan Vuillemez architect of the city of La Chaux-de-Fonds, gathered to discuss the current conditions shaping solar energy development, with a focus on integrating photovoltaics into historic buildings. Presentations explored key technical, heritage, social, and regulatory challenges, illustrated through European examples, and highlighted the specific methodology applied in La Chaux-de-Fonds and Le Locle, both UNESCO World Heritage sites and use-case of CALECHE. The event, organized by the Energy Service of the Canton of Fribourg in collaboration with Energie-FR, fostered rich exchanges on the balance between heritage preservation and energy transition.
