Use-Case Stakeholder Engagement

From February to May 2025 qualitative and quantitative feedback was obtained from use-case stakeholders at the four CALECHE study sites, in order to inform the design of the technological innovations (decision-support system, PV, bio-insulation, windows retrofit). In all, 5 workshops took place with 79 stakeholders. Bio-insulation samples and a PV sample box were shown to facilitate stakeholder interactions and the collection of feedback. 48 surveys were completed by use-case stakeholders during or after the workshops to provide individual level feedback. An innovative PV-integration exhibit was showcased in Visby, Sweden, resulting in 13 survey feedback responses. Also in this use-case CALECHE teamed up with sister project, INHERIT, and undertook a walking tour of relevant heritage sites in Visby.   Three interviews were completed to complement the research.  Overall, the results provided feedback to innovation partners on the acceptability of their proposed interventions, informing the co-design of solutions mid-way in the project. Learnings from the methodological application will inform the planning for evaluative participatory processes to take place in early 2026.
