CALECHE is welcoming a new partner!
A new partner, CERTH (Centre for Research and Technology – Hellas), from Thessaloniki, Greece, has joined the CALECHE consortium from June 2025. Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) plays a crucial role in the renovation of cultural heritage buildings in terms of preservation, since these buildings often contain materials that are sensitive to environmental conditions, such as temperature, humidity and air pollutants. CERTH aims to: enrich CALECHE’s DSS workplan in terms of IAQ guidelines; design, develop, calibrate and evaluate an IAQ monitor; and validate the innovative bio-insulation material for volatile organic compound emissions.
